I’m a wife, mom of four, and the heart behind The Organized Mompreneur.
I know what it’s like to live the chaos of juggling a never-ending to-do list of dishes, laundry, cleaning, and kids’ school and sports activities- all while trying to keep up with life and still wanting to build something meaningful outside of motherhood. Through it all, I’ve learned the power of preparation, intention and purpose through simple routines
Here’s the truth: you don’t need to do more. You need routines that work with your life- grounded in faith, filled with purpose, and created for your season.
Let’s start at the beginning…
Before I became a mom, my routines were very different, I worked a 7-4 job, and Saturdays were my cleaning and laundry catch-up day, preparing for the week ahead. The dishes were always left undone. Honestly, I had no system.
Then I became a Stay-at-Home mom and quickly realized that what I had been doing no longer helped me. I was stressed, overwhelmed, and searching for solutions. I googled “routines” and learned that was the answer. I tried to copy what other moms were doing- but not everything fit my life.
I pieced together my own system. I kept the tasks that worked, and left out the rest.
Now with three boys, I finally felt like I was in a groove with keeping up with them and the house. Then baby girl came along, and I felt like I was back to square one with trying to keep up with a newborn, three boys, the laundry, the dishes, and school events. I knew I needed to adjust what I was doing. I made a shift. Instead of trying to overhaul my whole day, I focused on small consistent resets- especially in the evenings. And everything changed.
Somehow adding small tasks didn’t feel overwhelming, but helpful. The more consistent I stayed with it, the easier it felt. In turn, I didn’t fell like keeping up with 4 kids, the laundry, the dishes, or school activities was overwhelming me. Now I was back in a groove. No, not every day is perfect, and yes some tasks get left undone or the laundry doesn’t get switched over. But if finally felt like I could breathe again. Not because my house was perfect… but because I had flow in my home. And that is what helped me keep up with my kids, run my household and still have energy left for more.
Then I started my online business from home. I learned very quickly that there are a million more tasks to do. So I applied this same concept I was using for my home tasks to my new business tasks, And this is how The Organized Mompreneur came to be. A way for me to help other moms starting businesses from home feel less overwhelmed and more organized In all the areas of her life. Her faith, her family, her home and her business So you can thrive in every area of life - with more grace, less hustle, and God at the center..
